Parish Pavilion

The Parish Pavilion has a single hall with large windows overlooking the playing fields on one side and the tennis courts on the other. It is a lovely bright space with green views.

There is a small modern kitchen for serving teas and coffees with microwave, hob and oven for heating pre-prepared food and a fridge. Hirers need to bring their own crockery and cutlery, although there are mugs and cups and saucers.

The hall is fully accessible with a disabled access lavatory and kitchen facilities.  It is an ideal venue for children’s parties and family celebrations, club and society meetings. It also currently used for bridge, dance, scrabble sessions, lectures and workshops. There is plenty of parking at the recreation ground.

PLEASE NOTE: The current maximum number permitted in the hall is 75.

We provide 75 chairs and the absolute maximum permitted number of people in the hall is usually 100, although that would be very full. For a sit down event at tables, 60 is the most you could accommodate and 50 would be more comfortable.  The dimensions are just under 9m x 9m. The hall is not large enough for bouncy castles or other inflatables and we do not permit these for parties on the grass outside either.

All-Weather Pitch

The all-weather pitch  is a large, artificial playing surface suitable for five-a-side football, club training, football coaching, fitness training, etc. It is enclosed by lower rebound-fencing and higher wire-fencing to contain play. It is floodlit for winter and evening use and is available until 10pm each evening.
